Today is the proverbial “calm before the storm.” Get out and enjoy that sunshine today! Things begin to go downhill Wednesday afternoon as an increasing threat of severe weather will be present, lasting into the overnight hours. While damaging straight line winds will be our biggest concern, a couple of tornadoes will also be possible. Attention will then quickly shift to a growing flood threat (especially across the southern half of the state) as we close out the week and head into the weekend.
