I see alot of talk that the se ridge will be stronger than the cold in our area I know that you don’t agree wirh that at this point. My question is do you think the gfs and canadian when do you feel they will come around to colder trends or will they? What model do you feel is the most reliable. Thanks for all you do I really enjoy watching your videos!!

Great question! I do think the Canadian and GFS will eventually “give in” to the European in the longer range (starting to at least head in that direction today). While we have to see it come to fruition, I don’t see how the combo of negative AO, NAO, and Phase 8 of the MJO don’t lead to a rather impressive 2-3 week period of cold and storminess late-Feb into early March.
